Senior System Developer

About the role

You will own the development of Sandvik Coromant’s external web and e‑commerce platform, turning user behavior insights into reliable, secure and scalable features. The role sits at the intersection of user experience, data and engineering, working in an agile product team to continuously improve both front‑end and back‑end capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain full‑stack features for a global e‑commerce platform.
• Build and refine integrations and REST APIs that support web capabilities.
• Work with product data across systems, ensuring data‑driven decisions.
• Explore AI‑enabled tools such as GitHub Copilot and Azure AI services to improve development efficiency.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner and wider product team to align technical solutions with business goals.

Required profile

• Several years of professional software development experience, preferably in a product‑oriented environment.
• Strong understanding of how AI is influencing software solutions and development practices.
• Ability to make architectural decisions and take ownership of technical outcomes.
• Experience working in agile teams using Azure DevOps.
• Comfortable operating in a data‑driven setup and communicating in English.

Required skills

• Front‑end: Angular, Kontent.AI CMS, CSS, Bootstrap.
• Back‑end: C#, SQL, REST APIs.
• Tooling: Visual Studio Code, Visual Studio, GitHub, GitHub Copilot, Azure, Azure DevOps.
• Architectural decision‑making and agile product development.
