Senior Project Manager – Card Migration (Fixed‑Term 20 Months)

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a senior project manager to lead a large‑scale card migration program for a key client. This fixed‑term position (20 months) is based in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, and focuses on delivering a compliant, timely migration of scheme cards to Mastercard.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive project plan aligned with program milestones, risk controls and customer outcomes.
• Track project KPIs and milestones, ensuring transparent reporting.
• Manage program governance and executive rhythm, facilitating decision‑making.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams and delivery partners to meet migration objectives.
• Ensure customer expectations are effectively managed and all stakeholders are prepared for migration.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience planning and delivering large‑scale change projects, preferably in developing markets.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to work with diverse teams.
• Proven ability to manage governance processes and executive reporting.
• Understanding of card migration processes is a plus.
