Senior Procurement Leader / Category Manager – Indirect Material & Services

About the role

ABB Robotics is looking for a Senior Procurement Leader / Category Manager to take full ownership of selected indirect material and services categories and drive their long-term strategic development. The role reports to the Global Procurement Manager and sits within a small, collaborative team focused on Sweden and close to the global procurement community. The company is transitioning into a standalone company and is open to applications until November 8th.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies that deliver value and cost efficiency.
• Manage and develop a broad supplier base with a focus on quality, delivery, innovation and sustainability.
• Lead negotiations and secure competitive agreements.
• Drive process improvements and digitalization to ensure transparency and ease of buying.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and turn them into sourcing solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or economics.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in procurement.
• Experience in indirect procurement, ideally in real estate, facility management or production-related services.
• Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English.

• Analytical, structured and target-driven, with strong problem-solving skills.
• Curious, quick to learn and able to build strong relationships.
