Senior Internal Lead Auditor

About the role

Hitachi Energy's Power Transformers business unit, which manufactures power transformers and reactors, is looking for an audit manager for its quality department in Ludvika, Sweden. The role sits centrally in the organisation and supports the development of production and processes. It follows a hybrid model of remote and on-site work.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, run and improve internal audit activities covering ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 50001
• Support and coordinate the internal auditor community, keeping auditors up to date on standards and helping follow up on deviations
• Promote management systems as part of daily operations and act as contact person for external ISO certification bodies
• Conduct, document and follow up on internal audits, and work with other internal auditors for an efficient, coordinated approach
• Produce a monthly status report on internal and external audit deviations
• Provide onboarding and training for relevant employees

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, quality management or a related technical field
• Proven experience with standards, compliance and auditing activities
• Fluency in Swedish and English
• Certified ISO Lead Auditor or equivalent experience is an advantage; prior experience auditing ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 50001 is also an advantage
