Senior Development Manager - Front End

About the role

Etraveli Group is building the next chapter of its Front End platform and needs a senior leader to drive the vision. Reporting to the Director of Software Development, you will lead multiple Front End teams in Gothenburg and coordinate the broader Front End initiative across locations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and support Team Leads and Front End engineers, setting clear expectations and connecting daily work to business goals.
• Drive major platform transformations and modernise Front End architecture for consumer brands and B2B platforms.
• Own talent development, performance management, resource planning and operational health of the engineering organisation.
• Improve planning, collaboration and delivery processes together with Product Owners and senior stakeholders.
• Identify practical AI use‑cases to reduce repetitive work, boost productivity and support resource planning.

Required profile

• Academic degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical field.
• Proven experience leading multiple software engineering teams in a senior management role.
• Ability to combine empathy with accountability and make difficult decisions under pressure.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of modern Front End development, especially React and TypeScript.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Front End architecture decisions.
