Senior Data Analyst - DRM & Music

About the role

As a Senior Data Analyst you will join Epidemic Sound’s AI‑native analytics team embedded within the commercial and product domains. You will partner with DRM and Music leadership to turn data into strategic business cases, influence product investment, and support high‑stakes negotiations.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted thought partner to DRM and Music leaders, questioning metrics and surfacing hidden insights.
• Build business cases that drive product decisions, contract terms, rate changes, and revenue‑share negotiations.
• Provide forward‑looking, data‑driven insights on music investment trends and customer segment usage.
• Combine internal platform data with external music performance data to explain metric movements and identify growth opportunities.
• Enhance data trustworthiness by enriching context, metadata, and using AI coding tools for instrumentation and quality fixes.
• Maintain analytical rigor as self‑serve analytics expands, pushing back on false precision and simplifying analyses where possible.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level influence with a track record of shaping leadership decisions and impacting revenue.
• High agency and ability to drive decisions through clear communication and data storytelling.
• Strong analytical instincts, capable of scoping vague questions and delivering actionable answers.
