Senior Customer Service Associate

About the role

The Senior Customer Service Associate provides initial technical product support to customers across the Nordics, handling inquiries, troubleshooting basic issues, and ensuring smooth order processing. This role works closely with internal teams and external partners to maintain high service levels.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate daily with external customers, manufacturing sites, sales representatives, and internal stakeholders.
• Field incoming phone calls and inquiries, and serve as the primary contact for service‑related questions.
• Gather information to identify and assess problem nature, record incidents in the tracking system, and recommend solutions based on manuals and guides.
• Escalate complex issues to higher‑level technical specialists or management.
• Coordinate customer order requirements, expedite urgent orders, and manage lot reserves.
• Handle consignment warehouse functions, including system receipt, inventory reconciliation, and billing.
• Provide training for new employees and participate in cross‑functional improvement teams.
• Visit customer sites occasionally as needed.

Required profile

• BS/BA degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Previous customer service experience, preferably in a technical or product‑support environment.
• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast‑paced setting and work collaboratively.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP.
