Purchasing Quality Engineer

About the role

The Purchasing Quality Engineer will support the implementation of the PUQ quality strategy at Bosch Home Comfort’s plant in Tranås, ensuring supplier‑related quality meets customer expectations. You will lead problem‑solving activities with suppliers, coordinate containment actions, and monitor supplier performance to drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Support the rollout of the PUQ quality strategy and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Lead problem‑solving sessions with suppliers using structured methods such as 8D.
• Conduct technical discussions for root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Coordinate containment actions and track their effectiveness at plant level.
• Assist QMM with supplier complaint analyses, component rejections, and returns.
• Participate in local meetings on failure analyses and corrective actions.
• Support quality risk management, concessions, and measurement alignment with suppliers.
• Collect internal and external failure cost data and initiate reimbursement processes.
• Prepare presentations and analyses using PowerPoint, PowerBI and other AI‑enabled tools.
• Gather and share technical lessons learned for preventive quality assurance on new parts.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Mechanics, Electronics, Business Management or a related field.
• Highly analytical, structured and proactive mindset with proven problem‑solving ability.
• Excellent written and spoken English with strong technical presentation skills.
• Organized, meticulous and able to manage multiple tasks in an international, dynamic environment.
