Production Planner

About the role

HITACHI ENERGY SWEDEN AB is looking for an engaged and detail-oriented Production Planner to join its team in Ludvika. The role plays a key part in optimising production flow and meeting delivery targets, developing and maintaining production plans while monitoring and adjusting them according to demand and capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain detailed production schedules and plans
• Monitor production processes to identify and analyse bottlenecks or inefficiencies
• Work with purchasing, inventory and production teams to ensure material availability and sufficient capacity
• Analyse production data and delivery performance to find areas for improvement
• Handle capacity planning and resource utilisation
• Communicate changes in production plans to stakeholders
• Introduce new processes and tools that reduce disruptions and shorten lead times

Required profile

• Relevant experience in logistics, industrial engineering or production engineering; a degree in a related field is preferred but not required
• At least one year of production planning experience, preferably in manufacturing
• Solid analytical skills and a structured, detail-oriented approach
• Good communication skills and collaboration with different teams
• Excellent written and spoken Swedish and English

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP)
• Experience with MPS/MRP systems
