Onsite Simultaneous and Consecutive Interpreter (Ukrainian–English/Ukrainian–Swedish)

About the role

We are looking for experienced freelance interpreters to provide on‑site simultaneous and consecutive interpretation services in Sweden. The work will involve meetings, events, and study visits covering topics such as waste management, governance, decentralisation and EU integration.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality simultaneous and consecutive interpretation for Ukrainian↔English and/or Ukrainian↔Swedish language pairs.
• Interpret for meetings, conferences, and field visits on subjects related to waste management, governance, decentralisation and EU integration.
• Collaborate with other interpreters and support the client’s communication needs.
• Travel within Sweden and, when required, abroad to attend assignments.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of professional experience in simultaneous and consecutive interpretation for the specified language pairs.
• Demonstrated experience with topics such as waste management, governance, decentralisation or EU integration.
• Fluent oral and written skills in Ukrainian and English and/or Ukrainian and Swedish (Russian is a plus).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel and availability for a client interview during the selection process.
