LVD Certification Specialist

About the role

Join Bosch Thermoteknik AB in Tranås as an LVD Certification Specialist and become the internal expert for electrical safety and Low Voltage Directive compliance. You will support the development of innovative heat pump solutions, ensuring they meet European safety standards and are ready for CE marking.

Key responsibilities

• Define certification and testing requirements for heat pump products and components.
• Review supplier certificates, technical documentation, and test reports for compliance.
• Lead technical discussions with suppliers, laboratories, and external test institutes.
• Plan, perform, and document LVD and electrical safety tests in the internal laboratory.
• Coordinate testing activities with external certification bodies and test institutes.
• Execute practical testing according to EN 60335-2-40 clauses 10, 11, 13, and 19.
• Manage the Customer Test Facility agreement, including annual audits and equipment calibration.
• Support development teams throughout the product development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Structured and driven professional with strong attention to detail.
• Experience in product certification, especially under the Low Voltage Directive.
• Ability to interpret complex technical standards and apply them to product testing.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external partners.
