Lead Application Support Engineer – .NET

About the role

As a Lead Application Support Engineer you will proactively identify and resolve issues in .NET production environments, using observability tools to reduce mean time to detection and resolution. You will work closely with business, product and engineering teams across geographies and participate in on‑call rotation and shift work.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain C#/.NET applications, APIs, and microservices.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, and technical discussions.
• Create and maintain SQL Server database objects, including queries, stored procedures, functions, and views.
• Perform unit, integration, and UAT testing support.
• Provide L2/L3 production support for .NET applications and services.
• Monitor application health, performance, and production environments using APM and logging tools.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents within SLA, performing root cause analysis and implementing permanent fixes.
• Support batch jobs, interfaces, APIs, and scheduled processes.
• Participate in on‑call support and major incident management activities.

Required profile

• Strong experience with C#.NET Framework.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and Web API.
• Proven background in L2/L3 support of .NET applications.
• Experience with SQL Server performance tuning and T‑SQL development.
• Familiarity with IIS, Windows Server, and REST/SOAP services.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and use of ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
• Ability to work in rotation shifts and on‑call environments.
