Independent Workplace Safety & Operational Risk Consultant (Sweden)

About the role

We are looking for an independent consultant to lead workplace safety and operational risk initiatives for our clients in Sweden. As a freelance subject‑matter expert you will combine assessments, audits and behavioural coaching to drive sustainable improvements in safety performance across high‑risk, asset‑intensive sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct operational risk assessments and site audits in client environments.
• Identify safety, risk and performance improvement opportunities.
• Deliver coaching and training interventions to embed behavioural and cultural change.
• Work directly with client stakeholders at all levels to strengthen safety leadership and accountability.
• Support implementation of operational risk management frameworks and practices.
• Facilitate workshops, training sessions and stakeholder engagements.
• Contribute to the delivery of short‑ and long‑term transformation programmes.

Required profile

• Strong analytical thinking and a curious mindset.
• Ability to work effectively in diverse, international environments.
• Experience in operational risk management, safety assessments and behavioural coaching.
