Freelance Clinical Supply Coordinator

About the role

TFS HealthScience, a global mid-size Contract Research Organization (CRO), is looking for a part-time Freelance Clinical Supply Coordinator (0.1 FTE) to support the oversight, planning and coordination of clinical trial supplies across global studies. Working about 10% of a full-time schedule, you will give expert guidance on investigational medicinal product (IMP) management, supply forecasting, documentation review and clinical supply strategy, ensuring uninterrupted study execution. You will be dedicated to one sponsor, a global pharmaceutical company.

Key responsibilities

• Review and maintain IMP-related documentation to ensure quality, accuracy and regulatory compliance
• Support supply forecasting so that drugs are available throughout the study
• Advise on clinical supply strategy, inventory management and distribution planning
• Coordinate with depots, vendors and study teams to address supply-related risks
• Review supply plans and identify potential shortages, delays or compliance concerns
• Collaborate with Clinical Operations and other stakeholders to keep studies running smoothly
• Keep supply documentation inspection-ready and compliant with applicable regulations

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Supply Chain Management or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
• Experience in Clinical Supply, Clinical Operations, Drug Supply Management or Clinical Trial Management within pharma, biotechnology or a CRO
• Understanding of clinical trial supply processes, IMP management and GxP requirements
• Ability to work independently and provide expert guidance in a fractional consulting capacity
