Electrical Construction Manager - Data Center

About the role

A European data center delivery partner, offering full turnkey solutions from design through construction and commissioning, is looking for an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to join its project team in Skellefteå, Sweden. The role manages all electrical works on site so that delivery is safe, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards. The salary range is €90,000–€110,000 plus package; the position requires the right to work in Sweden.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all electrical construction activities across the project lifecycle and lead day-to-day site operations with the wider project team.
• Ensure QA/QC processes are implemented and maintained in line with project specifications and standards.
• Coordinate project schedules with planners, project managers, subcontractors, consultants and design teams, and manage subcontractor performance, progress, manpower and coordination meetings.
• Keep subcontractor documentation, including safety documentation, up to date, and attend and lead site meetings, engineering reviews, planning meetings and handover meetings.
• Liaise with the design team so that construction information and technical submittals are issued on time, and review drawings, specifications and submittals for quality, compliance and buildability.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met and drive a strong safety culture on site.
• Support commercial management by tracking variations, managing costs and attending weekly commercial meetings, and issue progress reports to senior management.
• Manage electrical snagging and close-out, and proactively resolve technical, design and coordination issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a similar discipline.
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in electrical construction, with a focus on site management.
• Proven experience managing electrical systems on large-scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, coordination and programme delivery.
• Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• Data center, industrial or mission-critical project experience is advantageous.
