Director of Business Systems

About the role

aceve is seeking a strategic, hands‑on Director of Business Systems to lead the transformation and optimisation of its internal systems landscape. In this senior position you will own the business‑systems strategy, ensuring that the technology stack supports operational excellence, scalability and data‑driven decision‑making across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the roadmap for core platforms such as ERP, CRM, HRIS, PSA, subscription‑management and support tools.
• Design and optimise end‑to‑end workflows for Lead‑to‑Cash, Procure‑to‑Pay and Record‑to‑Report processes.
• Ensure the systems landscape enables automation, standardisation and scalability.
• Lead post‑acquisition system integrations and harmonisation following M&A activity.
• Champion data quality, governance and consistency in partnership with the Data & Analytics team.
• Manage vendor relationships, implementation partners and major systems projects.
• Drive user adoption through enablement, training and documentation initiatives.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience managing or implementing business systems in a SaaS, PE‑backed or high‑growth environment.
• Deep understanding of SaaS operational processes across Finance, Sales and Customer Success.
• Proven track record of systems transformation and M&A integration.
• Strong knowledge of process optimisation, automation and system interoperability.
• Experience with data governance, master data management and analytics flows.
