Chief Technology Officer (CTO) – Sweden

About the role

Lead the technical side of sales and act as the hands‑on engineering lead for a fast‑moving AI‑focused startup. Build and manage a high‑performing technical team while driving customer integrations across Sweden.

Key responsibilities

• Join early‑stage sales conversations, present demos and guide architecture and security discussions.
• Ship code, build integrations and set high‑quality engineering standards.
• Recruit, mentor and lead a technical team covering engineering, integration and pre‑sales.
• Drive end‑to‑end customer integrations from scoping to production deployment of AI agents.
• Collect customer feedback, localise the product and represent regional needs to the global product team.

Required profile

• 7–8+ years of hands‑on software engineering experience with shipped products.
• Proven track record in pre‑sales, solution architecture or complex technical implementations.
• Customer‑facing experience as Field CTO, Solutions Architect or Deployed Engineer.
• Strong leadership DNA, ideally at Director, VP or Founder level.
• Excellent English and fluency in at least one local language.
