Business Development Manager – Experience Studio (Scandinavia, Parental Leave Cover)

About the role

This temporary position supports Amex GBT's Experience Studio in Scandinavia, focusing on Sweden, for a one‑year parental leave cover. The role drives new sales and cross‑selling within the corporate events market.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, manage and drive prospects through the sales lifecycle in the live corporate events market.
• Promote the full Experience Studio portfolio, including sourcing, event management, group travel and creative production.
• Lead cross‑selling opportunities from strategic meeting and business travel clients.
• Conduct proactive outreach, maintain high prospecting activity and build a high‑value pipeline.
• Own RFI/RFP processes, acting as bid captain for pricing, negotiations and proposal delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of successful business development experience in corporate events or live event production.
• Proven track record in sales negotiations, new‑business generation and closing.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills with C‑level and stakeholder engagement.
• Fluent in Business Swedish and English; additional Scandinavian language a plus.
• Independent, target‑driven and willing to travel as required.
