Analyst, Business Process Improvement

About the role

Mastercard is seeking an Analyst, Business Process Improvement to join its Data & Services Delivery team. The analyst will partner closely with regional, cluster and squad leaders as well as HR to ensure staffing strategies align with business objectives and drive effective resource utilization.

Key responsibilities

• Aggregate staffing needs across regions, understand specific engagement requirements and prioritize across product lines.
• Collaborate with Delivery leadership to assign resources to client engagements based on predefined criteria, optimizing utilization across clusters and markets.
• Manage internal system settings throughout the engagement lifecycle, ensuring accurate data capture.
• Track regional utilization indicators, accounting for leaves, relocations, part‑time resources and other capacity changes.
• Work with squad leads and people managers to consolidate performance evaluation results and translate development needs into concrete opportunities.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of business processes and staffing dynamics within a global services organization.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize data and make informed resource allocation decisions.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with cross‑functional leaders and HR partners.
• Experience in managing resource planning or staffing in a fast‑paced, data‑driven environment.
