Tool Mechanic (m/f/x)

About the role

As a Tool Mechanic at 3M Peltor Sweden you will join a high‑ethics team responsible for keeping molding tools in optimal condition and safe for use. You will contribute to daily operations, ensure equipment reliability and support a strong EHS culture.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective and emergency maintenance on molding tools.
• Make smaller adjustments and fine‑tune equipment as needed.
• Participate in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) activities.
• Support day‑to‑day operations, specifically the tier process.

Required profile

• Workshop education or a few years of professional experience.
• Basic knowledge of molding tools.
• Understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Ability to operate workshop machinery such as milling machines and lathes.
• Blueprint reading competence.
• Self‑driven, able to work independently and within a team.
• Strong focus on EHS and maintaining a safe workplace.
• Proficiency in Swedish.
