Technical Product Manager – AI Stockbroking

About the role

BJAK is building an AI‑native Stockbroking Superapp for Southeast Asia, covering payments, remittance, insurance, wealth and trading. The Technical Product Manager will own a product vertical end‑to‑end, shaping strategy, technical design and launch while ensuring regulatory compliance and financial reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the vertical’s strategy, roadmap, metrics and priorities.
• Shape technical design with engineering on APIs, data flows, ledgering, reconciliation, failure handling, security and scalability.
• Balance trade‑offs among correctness, speed, cost, reliability, regulatory requirements and user experience.
• Integrate regulatory requirements such as KYC, transaction monitoring, limits, privacy and licensing into the product.
• Apply AI where it improves outcomes, establishing evaluation, safeguards, human oversight and failure handling.
• Coordinate external dependencies including regulatory approvals, financial rails and third‑party partners.

Required profile

• 5+ years of product management experience with ownership of complex technical products from strategy through production.
• Strong product judgment to make difficult trade‑offs under technical, regulatory and operational constraints.
• Experience in payments, banking, remittance, insurance, trading or another regulated high‑consequence domain.
• Hands‑on experience building with LLMs or AI products, including evaluation and reliability considerations.
