Solutions Architect – Nordics (Fungible Team)

About the role

Databricks is looking for a Solutions Architect to join the Fungible rapid‑response squad within Field Engineering. Based in Stockholm, you will work on high‑visibility, time‑boxed engagements across the Nordics, helping customers move critical data and AI workloads from evaluation to production.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical strategy for 1‑5 month engagements, designing scalable, production‑grade solutions in data engineering, ML/AI and real‑time analytics.
• Conduct architecture workshops, white‑boarding sessions and design reviews with senior customer stakeholders.
• Demonstrate Databricks’ differentiation through custom‑built solutions in competitive, must‑win scenarios.
• Package progress and hand off to core account teams, ensuring sustained adoption and expansion.

Required profile

• ~6+ years of experience in solutions architecture, data engineering, technical pre‑sales or a senior hands‑on technical role.
• Comfort with ambiguity, time‑boxed projects and a bias for high‑impact, variety‑driven work.
• Proven ability to influence senior technical and executive audiences.

Required skills

• Hands‑on coding in Python and SQL.
• Deep knowledge of distributed data systems and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with scalable pipelines, streaming, lakehouse patterns and related security/governance.
• Proficiency with the Databricks platform or rapid ability to ramp on new technology.
