Solutions Architect – Hunter/Greenfield Pre‑Sales

About the role

At Databricks, the Nordics Hunter team is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to lead technical strategy for new strategic engagements in the region. You will act as a strategic advisor, establishing Databricks as the primary data & AI platform for Greenfield accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical strategy for Greenfield accounts, assessing architecture and providing guidance across data & AI practitioners to C‑level stakeholders.
• Serve as a trusted executive advisor to VP‑level and business‑unit leaders, aligning interests during high‑tension negotiations.
• Abstract learnings into reusable patterns and guidance for the broader Databricks community.
• Drive adoption beyond proof‑of‑concept, delivering measurable business outcomes and monitoring adoption signals.
• Mentor junior and professional Solutions Architects on technical discovery and complex use‑case prioritisation.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in technical and client‑facing roles.
• Deep expertise across the data landscape, including Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, and Generative AI.
• Proven ability to influence senior executives and drive alignment across competing constraints.
• Recognised architect capable of leading high‑complexity, multi‑account architectural challenges.
• Track record of executing through ambiguity, identifying emerging risks early and mobilising action.
• Excellent communication skills for top‑tier customer interactions.
