Senior Machine Learning Engineer

About the role

Datatonic, Google Cloud’s premier AI partner, is looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to design and deliver production‑grade AI solutions. You will write clean Python code, champion best‑practice engineering, and help shape client projects from conception to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret vague business requirements and develop machine‑learning models to solve real‑world problems.
• Conduct experiments using Python ML libraries and generative AI techniques.
• Optimize models for performance, scalability, and deployment on Google Cloud, AWS or Azure.
• Automate MLOps pipelines, ensuring testing, reproducibility, and metadata management.
• Design end‑to‑end ML architectures and integrate them via web services such as Flask.

Required profile

• Multiple years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer, preferably in a consulting environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for client discussions.
• Hands‑on experience with production software engineering practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in scaling computations using GPUs or distributed systems.
