Senior Backend Engineer – Music Monetization & DRM

About the role

We are looking for two Senior Backend Engineers to lead our Digital Rights Management (DRM) efforts, primarily focused on social media platforms such as YouTube. You will work with Google Cloud services, large datasets, and partner APIs to ensure smooth, secure content claiming and safelisting.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end backend services, including infrastructure, monitoring, and reliability.
• Design, build, and optimise systems that fetch and analyse data from user‑generated content platforms.
• Collaborate with data and machine‑learning engineers to provide data‑driven insights for revenue operations.
• Guide service design decisions to meet customer needs and compliance requirements.
• Maintain high‑availability architectures and complex partner API integrations.

Required profile

• Strong background in backend engineering with a focus on high‑availability systems.
• Experience handling large‑scale data processing and strict compliance standards.
• Proven ability to design simple, maintainable services that can be easily adopted by other engineers.
• Interest in DRM and safeguarding large‑scale datasets.
