Project Manager – Production & Technology

About the role

As a Project Manager – Production & Technology you will lead projects that develop and improve Alfa Laval’s production operations, including new investments, equipment installations and continuous‑improvement initiatives. You will guide projects from idea and planning through execution and follow‑up, working closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Purchasing, Finance and Production Engineering as well as external suppliers. The position is based in Lund, Sweden, within GCC Technology, reporting to the Unit Manager and involves about 15 travel days per year.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, lead and follow up on technical projects within manufacturing operations.
• Define project goals, timelines, budgets and resource plans together with key stakeholders.
• Coordinate activities across functions and with external partners.
• Identify and manage risks and challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project performance and ensure objectives are achieved.
• Present status updates and results to management and stakeholders.
• Contribute to improving ways of working and share lessons learned.
• Support initiatives that enhance safety, quality, efficiency and sustainability.

Required profile

• Enjoy creating structures, building strong relationships and moving projects forward.
• Interest in technology and manufacturing with a practical, business‑oriented mindset.
• Strong communicator who collaborates effectively with diverse teams.

Required skills

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related field.
• Several years of experience leading projects or coordinating technical initiatives in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with CAD or PDM systems (preferred).
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) (preferred).
• Proficiency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
