Principal, Strategic People & Organization Advisory, Europe

About the role

Marsh People and Investment, part of Marsh, is building its European People Advisory Group and is looking for a Principal to lead complex client engagements end-to-end. The role works alongside Oliver Wyman partners on joint strategic client work, covering workforce, organizational, HR transformation, talent and rewards. It can be based in any of Marsh's European offices.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client engagements from scoping and workstream design through to the final recommendation to senior client executives
• Act as the primary day-to-day counterpart for CHROs and transformation leaders
• Deliver across the people agenda: workforce and organizational transformation, HR transformation, and complex talent and rewards mandates
• Shape proposals, follow up on engagements, uncover opportunities and lead pursuits, co-selling with Partners
• Build and lead project teams across Europe and develop consultants through apprenticeship on live work
• Create thought leadership and reusable assets, using AI-enabled ways of working as the default

Required profile

• Several years (typically 8+) of consulting experience, ideally in a top-tier strategy firm or leading people advisory practice
• Proven track record of selling and leading client engagements with tangible client impact
• Credibility with C-level stakeholders
• Depth in at least one field: workforce transformation, organizational design, HR transformation, talent or rewards
• Completed university degree; fluent English required, other languages a plus
• Willingness to travel in Europe during delivery peaks
