Marketing and Agronomy Manager

About the role

Yara International is seeking a Marketing and Agronomy Manager to lead its Swedish marketing and agronomy function. The role combines commercial, agronomic and leadership responsibilities to drive growth, profitability and sustainable farming solutions across Sweden.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the country marketing and agronomy strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Drive market growth and profitability through go‑to‑market plans, customer segmentation and value‑proposition development.
• Strengthen Yara’s position as a leading knowledge partner through technical expertise, field trials and agronomic leadership.
• Lead implementation of digital agriculture and precision‑farming solutions, integrating new technologies into customer offerings.
• Monitor market, customer, competitor, industry and regulatory developments and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Manage department budgets, resources and performance against agreed KPIs.
• Collaborate with commercial, product and Nordic teams to align market needs and business priorities.
• Lead and develop a high‑performing team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Track and measure the impact of marketing and agronomy activities to ensure business value creation.
• Contribute to the country leadership team and support strategic decision‑making.

Required profile

• University degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the Swedish agricultural sector with strong knowledge of crop nutrition and sustainable farming.
• Fluent in Swedish and proficient in English.
• Proven ability to translate strategy into actions and achieve sustainable results.
• Commercial and business‑development mindset.
• Experience in market analysis, segmentation and customer engagement.
• Self‑driven, results‑oriented and customer‑focused.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, building trust through integrity.
