Head of Service & Journey

About the role

Telenor Sweden is looking for a Head of Service & Journey to lead the development of capabilities supporting B2C customer management, customer communications, service orchestration and customer service across the customer lifecycle. You will guide highly skilled engineering teams in a complex integration landscape, balancing business needs, technical evolution and long-term modernization. The role leads two specialized engineering teams with about 25 colleagues and consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Align and execute the roadmap for the Service & Journey domain, balancing business priorities with long-term technology modernization.
• Lead, develop and inspire engineering teams, fostering technical excellence, accountability, innovation and continuous learning.
• Ensure stable, resilient and secure platforms while improving operational performance, engineering efficiency and customer outcomes.
• Strengthen engineering excellence through modern development practices, automation, AI-assisted ways of working and technical modernization.
• Partner with business stakeholders, architects and technology teams to align priorities, architecture and execution.

Required profile

• Experience in IT delivery in complex technology environments, with the ability to lead and develop engineering teams.
• Strong technical foundation, ideally from architecture, software engineering or another senior technical role.
• Experience driving modernization, change or continuous improvement.
• Comfortable discussing architecture, engineering excellence and AI.
• Experience in complex integration landscapes and enterprise integration platforms is an advantage.
