Financial Lines Underwriter (MLC)

About the role

Join AIG's Nordic team in Stockholm as a Financial Lines Underwriter specializing in Management Liability (MLC). You will focus on Directors & Officers Liability, Crime, and Employment Practices Liability for the Swedish portfolio while supporting the broader Nordic region.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, structure, and price D&O, Crime, and EPL risks.
• Maintain and develop relationships with Swedish and Nordic brokers.
• Manage a profitable book of business, including renewal and growth initiatives.
• Contribute to Nordic market strategy by identifying trends and opportunities.

Required profile

• Experience with Financial Lines products, either as an underwriter, claims handler, broker, or in complex underwriting operations.
• Technical knowledge of Management Liability products (D&O/Crime).
• Fluent in English and a Scandinavian language.
• Strong negotiation skills and a commercial mindset.
• Analytical, structured, and able to work independently within a matrix organization.
