Financial Control Manager

About the role

aceve is seeking an experienced, people‑driven Financial Control Manager to lead its Record‑to‑Report (R2R) team within the Shared Services Centre. This pivotal position ensures high‑quality, timely, and compliant financial reporting across a growing international footprint, supporting the company’s rapid expansion and M&A activity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of controllers, fostering ownership and collaboration.
• Ensure accurate, compliant, and timely financial reporting in line with IFRS, K3 and local GAAP.
• Standardise month‑end close, reconciliations and intercompany accounting processes.
• Support finance integration for new acquisitions, onboarding entities into the SSC framework.
• Partner with Group Finance and FP&A to align end‑to‑end reporting processes.
• Identify and implement automation and digitalisation opportunities.
• Collaborate with external auditors to secure statutory compliance.
• Own and evolve R2R KPIs and quality metrics.

Required profile

• 7+ years of accounting and controlling experience, preferably in a multi‑entity or M&A environment.
• 3+ years of leadership experience in a shared‑service or process‑driven setting.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, K3 and local GAAP.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Energy, curiosity and resilience in a fast‑changing environment.
