Factory IS Manager

About the role

ABB is seeking a Factory IS Manager to ensure stable, secure, and efficient IT operations at its Alingsås site. You will be the primary local IS/IT contact, supporting daily factory activities while contributing to digital development and cybersecurity initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support, maintain, and continuously improve IS/IT services and infrastructure for reliable factory operations.
• Act as the liaison between local business needs and ABB’s global IS/IT organization, coordinating services, systems, and end‑user support.
• Oversee digitalization and IT/OT initiatives, deploying and refining manufacturing systems and digital tools.
• Promote cybersecurity, compliance, risk management, and business continuity through assessments and improvements.
• Manage service issues, requirements, and improvement opportunities to enhance operational stability and user experience.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree or equivalent experience.
• 3‑5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, industrial IT, or IT operations.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Fluent English and good Swedish communication skills.
