Export Control and Trade Sanctions Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Export Control & Trade Sanctions Specialist to lead and improve our global compliance processes from quote to shipment. You will ensure product classification, partner screening and due‑diligence are performed in line with regulatory requirements, supporting business units across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Drive export control and trade sanctions processes, including product classification and partner screening.
• Develop, monitor and continuously improve compliance procedures and governance frameworks.
• Translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable initiatives and training material.
• Provide guidance to Export Control Super Users and act as the main contact for sanctions assessments.
• Coordinate with Business Units, Sales, Product Owners, Sourcing and Supply Chain to prioritize actions and implement best practices.
• Support capability building and ensure alignment with the company’s IT landscape.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in export control, trade sanctions or related compliance fields.
• Proven record of working in international organisations and handling technical drawings for compliance implementation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Ability to translate legal requirements into practical, end‑to‑end initiatives.
