Customer Support Engineer

About the role

Join Airbus as a Customer Support Engineer in the Stockholm area, working within the Public Safety sector to restore and maintain Professional Mobile Radio (PMR) systems. You will be the first line of technical support, handling incidents and ensuring service level agreements are met.

Key responsibilities

• Take over incidents and technical requests from the Service Desk, analyze faults and restore system operation quickly.
• Maintain contractually agreed service levels, manage escalations and coordinate with 3rd‑level product support.
• Implement solutions and work‑arounds via remote access or on‑site visits, and manage problem resolution and diagnostics.
• Perform integration, testing and configuration of hardware/software components in a complex system environment.

Required profile

• Degree in electrical, communications engineering, computer science or a related field.
• Up to 3 years of experience in an ITIL‑based service desk, incident and problem management.
• Strong communication skills in English and Swedish, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• ITIL Foundation knowledge, incident and problem management processes.
• Experience with CRM and trouble‑ticket systems.
• Knowledge of digital radio/mobile radio systems (4G/5G, TETRA, TETRAPOL, DMR).
• Proficiency with UNIX/Linux/Windows operating systems and IP networks.
• Familiarity with network management systems (NMS), IT security architectures and virtualization technologies.
• Ability to work with databases and diagnostic tools; Nokia DX platform knowledge is a plus.
