Applied AI Engineer

About the role

Etraveli Group is expanding its agentic AI ecosystem and seeks a hands‑on Applied AI Engineer to drive rapid prototyping and evaluation of AI agents. You will build MVPs, test them against business criteria, and translate successful prototypes into specifications for the core technology team.

Key responsibilities

• Build end‑to‑end AI agents using Python, LLM frameworks, APIs and databases; spin up supporting infrastructure such as vector stores and Docker containers.
• Design and run evaluation pipelines measuring accuracy, hallucination rates, latency and cost; create ground‑truth datasets with business owners.
• Assess operational workflows with strategy teams, evaluate new agent architectures and recommend platform adoption.
• Serve as primary technical liaison to the AI platform team, delivering clear specs, architecture diagrams and data‑flows for production scaling.

Required profile

• 3+ years of software engineering experience with strong Python and rapid‑prototyping skills.
• Hands‑on experience orchestrating LLMs (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, LiteLLM) and building API wrappers.
• Ability to convert complex business logic into concise technical specifications.
• Agile, pragmatic mindset for fast experimentation outside traditional sprint cycles.
