Account Director, Digital Natives - Nordics

About the role

OpenAI is looking for an Account Director to lead the Digital Natives segment across the Nordics. Based in Stockholm, you will drive AI‑powered solutions from initial interest through successful deployment, working closely with research, engineering and solution teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of key accounts, creating and executing comprehensive account plans.
• Lead enterprise prospects through the sales cycle, from consideration to deployment.
• Partner with solutions and research engineering to design and deliver complex customer programs.
• Own and achieve consumption‑based revenue targets, forecasting and reporting revenue.
• Analyze account metrics to provide insights to internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor industry trends, competitors and partners to inform product roadmap and corporate strategy.
• Collaborate with marketing, communications, finance, product management and engineering.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and the development of company culture.

Required profile

• 5‑7+ years selling platform‑as‑a‑service or software‑as‑a‑service solutions.
• Consistently achieved >$1M annual revenue targets for at least three years.
• Experience designing and executing complex deal strategies.
• Proven ability to work directly with C‑level executives.
• Strong communication of technical concepts to both customers and internal teams.
• Leadership of high‑visibility customer events such as conferences and product launches.
• Ability to gather, distill and act on market, competitor and customer intelligence.
