Tech Lead – .NET Microservices & Azure

About the role

As a Tech Lead at Avarda Group you will guide the design and development of a cutting‑edge payment platform built on .NET microservices and Azure. You will work with a distributed team across several European locations, shaping the technical direction and ensuring the platform meets high standards of scalability, performance and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and implementation of .NET Core microservices.
• Design cloud‑native solutions on Azure, ensuring robustness and scalability.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines using Kubernetes, Docker and Azure Pipelines.
• Optimize system performance, reliability and maintainability.
• Implement logging and observability with OpenTelemetry.
• Mentor developers of varying seniority and drive technical decisions.
• Collaborate with distributed teams to align on strategy and best practices.

Required profile

• 8–10 years of software engineering experience with strong expertise in C# and .NET Core.
• Several years in senior, lead or architect roles, ideally currently a Tech Lead.
• Proven experience with transaction‑intensive systems and agile development.
• Deep understanding of microservice architecture and cloud platforms.
• Experience leading engineering teams in distributed environments.
• Background in e‑commerce, payments or finance is a plus.
