Software Developer – HVAC & Heat Pump Systems

About the role

Join Bosch Thermotechnology in Tranås as a Software Developer focused on creating and enhancing software tools for heat pump and HVAC system design. You will work in a dynamic, agile environment, contributing to innovative solutions that support a greener future.

Key responsibilities

• Develop software‑supported functions for designing and configuring heat pump and HVAC systems.
• Revise, optimise, and adapt existing calculation algorithms.
• Implement backend development and integrate new functionalities into the current software architecture.
• Create graphical models for an HVAC system configurator.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Physics, Engineering Physics, or a comparable technical field.
• Strong abstract and formal‑logical thinking abilities.
• Programming experience with C# or VB.
• Basic knowledge of mathematics and physics, ideally with expertise in thermodynamics.
• Interest in designing and configuring complex technical systems.
• Structured work style in an agile environment and strong teamwork skills.
