About the role

Avarda Group is building the payment solutions of the future and is looking for a Senior Software Developer to join its distributed engineering team. You will work on .NET microservices hosted in Azure, collaborating with colleagues across Europe. This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role that shapes platform architecture and engineering culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of .NET Core microservices and their architecture.
• Drive cloud‑based solution design, ensuring robust, scalable, and reliable services on Azure.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows using Kubernetes, Docker, and Azure Pipelines.
• Optimize systems and applications for high performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Implement and improve logging and observability using OpenTelemetry.
• Share knowledge and support developers of varying seniority, contributing to technical and architectural discussions.
• Collaborate across distributed teams to align on technical strategy and best practices.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in C#.NET Core, and Azure.
• Proven experience with transaction‑intensive systems and agile development processes.
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture and distributed system design.
• Collaborative, team‑first mindset with a passion for engineering quality.
• Fluent in English; Swedish is a plus.
• Experience in e‑commerce, payments, or finance is advantageous.
