Night Shift Substitute Caregiver at Katthammarsviks Elderly Home

About the role

We are looking for dedicated night‑shift substitute caregivers to join our team at Katthammarsviks elderly home. You will work alongside nurses, occupational therapists and physiotherapists to ensure residents receive safe, respectful care throughout the night.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance to residents during night hours.
• Monitor residents' health status and report any changes to the nursing team.
• Participate in care planning and document observations accurately.
• Support a calm and safe environment, responding to emergencies when needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to maintain high standards of care.

Required profile

• Qualified as an undersköterska (assistant nurse) with several years of experience in elderly care.
• Good computer literacy and experience with documentation systems.
• Fluent Swedish in both spoken and written form.
• Ability to work independently during night shifts while being a supportive team member.

Required skills

• Basic computer skills for electronic documentation.
