Global Demand Controller

About the role

As a Global Demand Controller you will consolidate commercial forecasts, orders and inventory inputs into a reliable global demand view. Reporting to the Demand & Supply Manager, you will maintain the demand plan, identify risks and provide analysis to support planning decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Consolidate and validate forecasts and order inputs from commercial teams, export markets and other demand contributors to produce an accurate global demand plan.
• Integrate inventory, order‑book data and stock assumptions to calculate net demand and flag stock‑out, excess or end‑of‑life risks.
• Compare demand requirements with supply availability and purchasing timelines, highlight gaps and propose action scenarios.
• Prepare decision‑ready insights on demand, inventory, order book, risks and opportunities for S&OP, S&OE, budget and management reviews.
• Maintain data quality, version control and reporting across SAP, Excel and other planning tools.
• Drive continuous improvement in demand consolidation, reporting calendars, handovers and exception management.

Required profile

• Analytical and structured, able to turn large or incomplete data sets into clear actions.
• Detail‑oriented while keeping the broader business picture and trade‑offs in mind.
• Confident in constructively challenging inputs and assumptions with fact‑based solutions.
• Clear communicator who can explain complex information to commercial, finance, operations and management stakeholders.
• Collaborative and comfortable aligning international stakeholders with differing priorities.
• Process‑ and systems‑minded with understanding of demand, inventory, supply, finance and planning system interactions.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with SAP and other ERP/planning systems.
• Strong analytical abilities and data handling.
