Samordnande miljöspecialist – Väg och järnvägsprojekt

About the role

We are looking for a Coordinating Environmental Specialist to work on road and railway projects for the Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket). The position is a full‑time consulting assignment based in Gothenburg or Trollhättan with a hybrid work model.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan, drive and follow up environmental work across multiple road and rail projects from planning to completion.
• Collaborate closely with project management, other technical specialists and environmental experts.
• Provide support on complex environmental issues, regulatory matters, procurement and construction phases.
• Guide project organisations in Trafikverket’s procedures, routines, instructions, methods, templates and tools.
• Offer advice and problem‑solving assistance throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Strong flexibility and ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑changing environment.
• Solid expertise in environmental matters related to road and railway infrastructure.
• Experience handling authority cases, procurement processes and construction‑stage environmental follow‑up.
