QA Lead – Core Ledgers

About the role

We are seeking an experienced QA Lead to own the quality assurance process for our Core Ledger platform. The role focuses on defining test strategy, executing functional, regression and integration tests, and ensuring that supplier‑delivered components meet our strict financial standards before they go live.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the overall test strategy for the Core Ledger domain, covering functional, regression, integration and acceptance testing.
• Build and keep up‑to‑date test plans, test cases and automated regression suites.
• Collaborate with the Head of Core Ledger IT, Core Ledger Specialists and Product Manager to embed quality from requirements through delivery approval.
• Verify ledger transaction flows, balance calculations and reconciliation logic delivered by external suppliers.
• Investigate, triage and coordinate defect resolution with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Define, track and report quality metrics, test coverage and defect trends.
• Participate in go/no‑go decisions for supplier deliveries based on quality criteria.
• Support internal teams with test results, known issues and overall quality status.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in QA roles, including leading test strategy and acceptance testing for complex systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work methodically in high‑stakes financial environments.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external vendors.

Required skills

• Test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, RestAssured or Playwright.
• Performance and load testing tools like Gatling, k6 or JMeter.
• Deep knowledge of functional, regression, integration and acceptance testing methodologies.
