IT Security Engineer – Cloud & Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for an IT Security Engineer to join Avarda Bank’s IT Operations team. You will work closely with the IT Security function, Helpdesk and our SOC partner to protect client, server and cloud environments across multiple countries.

Key responsibilities

• Secure and maintain client, server, and cloud infrastructure.
• Manage and improve Conditional Access policies, Group Policies (GPO) and Intune configuration profiles.
• Work with Identity and Access Security, including Privileged Identity/Access Management (PIM/PAM).
• Monitor and respond to security incidents together with the SOC using Microsoft Sentinel and Defender.
• Coordinate penetration tests and drive remediation of findings.
• Run and maintain vulnerability scanning, tracking action points to resolution.
• Manage Mobile Device Management (Intune/Autopilot) across PC, Mac, Android and mobile devices.
• Support Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and information‑protection efforts, including evaluating the security of new AI tools.
• Contribute to documentation, security policies and internal/external audits.
• Partner closely with the IT Helpdesk to isolate and resolve potential threats quickly.
• Support Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity activities.
