ESG Reporting Accountant

About the role

Nordic Investin is recruiting an ESG Reporting Accountant on behalf of one of its partner companies, based in Stockholm. The partner is strengthening its capability in auditable sustainability reporting linked to financial control. The role sits within the accounting department (Redovisningsekonom) and involves work that connects ESG data, CSRD and controls, with reconciliations and reporting systems receiving appropriate discipline.

Key responsibilities

• Own the practical direction for auditable sustainability reporting connected to financial control.
• Translate goals and constraints into a clear approach for ESG data and CSRD.
• Establish standards, routines or artefacts around controls.
• Coordinate stakeholders and dependencies affecting reconciliations.
• Use evidence and measurable outcomes to improve reporting systems.
• Strengthen knowledge sharing, decision quality and sustainable ownership across the team.

Required profile

• Relevant experience delivering auditable sustainability reporting connected to financial control in a demanding environment.
• Strong working knowledge of ESG data and CSRD.
• Practical experience applying controls and reconciliations.
• Ability to assess risk, priorities and trade-offs involving reporting systems.
• Evidence of clear stakeholder communication and dependable end-to-end ownership.
• Professional English and the judgement to work with sensitive or business-critical information.
• Swedish language skills or experience working across Nordic organisations.

Required skills

• Backgrounds such as group finance, operations, audit, advisory or a growing business; direct experience of auditable sustainability reporting is valuable, as is exposure to assurance in a cross-functional environment.
• Experience from listed companies, industry or sustainability transformation adds value.
